Default will 15"x10" fit on rear of 89 5.0 without mods?

I was thinking about putting 15x10" wheels on the rear of my 89 mustang but i was hoping i can do it without making any modifications to the fenders or wheel well. Is this possible?

A 10" wheel will not fit in the back of a fox without modifying the exhaust and fender.

my exhaust comes out of the side of my stang so that isn't a problem. with the 15" wheels how is the fender a problem? i figured definitely with 17's but not 15's. please explain

You are right i should not be a problem, I misread your post. However what width is the tire size you will run?

Why do you wanna run 15x10's anyways? If you are planning on running some kind of weld racing wheels to help you when you drag race, 15x8's is more suitable, not to mention that tire sizes for 10" whees are hard to find especially in 15's...

I wanted to run 15x10 because i would be able to get a better launch and less spinning. two of my buddies have stock 87 stangs and one has 15x7 and the other has 15x9 and the 15x9 seem to spin less. i dont think it has anything to do with the driver cuz both of them have automatics but who knows. that is just from my experience though. and not to mention when you see a car in front of you with 10" rear wheels you go... holy hell that is ridiculous

If you run a 10" rim, you will have to run a fat tire back there, and yes it will help with spinning issues, but you will have more rotating mass and thus hurt your times when you race. Run a 8" rim with a decent tire size and invest is some good upper and lower control arms and it will solve your traction issues.
