Default supercharge it or buy a cobra?

What’s up everyone? I'm looking for some opinions/suggestions on what route I should take with my car.

Yesterday, I found a 2003 SVT Cobra, 55,000 miles, loudmouth II's, O/R H pipe, cai, and I believe a pair of 3.73's. The guy wants to sell it to me for $19,500. I really want it, but I don’t know if the extra money needed to buy it would be worth it. Looking at my sig below of what I have done to my car, what are ya guys' suggestions on what to do?

If I don’t buy the cobra, any ideas on a route I could go to gain some power? I was thinking about supercharging it, or some gears... I have about $1600 saved up right now but probably double that by summer. Any suggestions would be great.

cobra has forged internals better potentials and looks mean. 19k for a cobra with 55k miles is a good price. I payed $18,500 for my 04 GT.

I dont know it depends. 19,500 is an awesome price but it does have some miles on it.

If you have the money go for it

"If" you can afford it, get the cobra. I've got around $50k invested in 3 different mustangs (2 classics and my '03) and none of them are as awesome as a cobra. At this point I'd rather have 2 cars and one of them be a terminator. I hate hind sight.

the cobra has normal miles on it. 15k a year that is the norm these days from what i was told.

i would still get the cobra. its a lot cheaper to get 600 hp out of it then a 2 valve.

insurance is going to KILL your wallet. Be prepared. I'd just build and supercharge your existing car. You've paid for the right and it's a good foundation. If 4v heads and a blower are that important, then buy and install them.

he does sound like a youngin since he brought up the dad line. so insurance will prolly put a damper on the go fast goodies. i had my car for 5 years just supercharged last october and im buying a motor next summer and moving up to a turbo kit after i save up for that. these things take time. air force only pays me so much. i should study to make rank
