Default Mach 1000 and Capacitors

I read somewhere about putting capacitors inline with the speakers to keep the door speakers and rear speakers from popping due to too much Bass. Does anyone know the type/values of the Capacitors and what color lead to I wire them inline with on each speaker?

Thanks
Scott

When I used to work at Circuit City, the ones we had in the Roadshop were called BassBlockers. Small caps. I used em once way back but forget what the crossover point was. You can put a couple in series to increase the crossover point. On the Mach system, it doesnt run a stardard 4ohm impeadance, but I don't think that would be problem. But you brought up a good point, something I had not thought of.(using bass blockers on stock system)Distorting the mid/bass woofers isnt hard to do if you really drive em. The following link has schematics of the mach systems.
