Default cleaning...

just got done washing my car, noticing so many scratches and lil like light black swooshies(lol, kinda like a scuff mark)...how can i get rid of the 2-3 scuff looking marks that I have...also, is turtle wax ok for waxing my car?
also, is armor-all good enough for the inside interior? like the dashboard? and wut kinda towel should i use? some paper towels? a beach towel?

i kno...alot of questions...any answers are good...thx

(off subject but, how much would it cost for 1 stock rim? one of the lil like whole aeas on my rims (98's) is kinda fading away and turning brown...)

Rubbing compound will take out scuff marks in the paint. Its an abbrasive so don't go crazy with it. Wax the area afterwards. Turtle wax is ok, personally I use the Meguires 3 step ( best stuff i've ever tried). Armorall is ok for the dash and door panels + I use Meguires leather cream on my seats. I use microfiber towels for applying almost everthing. They don't leave lint. Wally has cheap ones on sale sometimes for 99 cents for 2 pak. Paper towels suck on any part of a car, go buy some of those blue shop towels - they rock.

Don't use rubbing compound, it can have some nasty results on your clear coat if you don't know what you're doing. I'd reccomend Zaino's Z-PC for those swirl marks and fine scratches. Its abrasive as well, but alot easier on your clear coat than a rubbing compound. I used some on my dad's Jeep on Sunday and was amazed at how many scratches it could get out.

I'd stay away from turtle wax, and carnubas in general. 2-3 heavy rains and a Carnuba is gone.

I'd reccomend a nice polish, I personally use Zaino, but alot of people have great results with Klasse AIO/Sonus and Meguiar's NXT as well. Keeping your car looking good will cost money and take time, but its so rewarding when you're done.

thx guys, and yea, i kno itll cost money and take time, i wouldnt mind spending a whole day cleaning, waxing and such to my car...im not doing anything for my car, mod wise or anything really since my mom will get it eventually, so i atleast want my car to look and feel clean.

So if i stop by walmart i could pick up some items...lol

and any1 use those like car air freshners (by glade or sumtin), they clip onto your AC vent? wondering if they are worth the 5 bucks for a pretty scent...lol

also... lets say all in one day i wanted to wash, wax, polish my car, is there a certain order that would work best?

Shopping List...

Air freshner/Zaino/Microfiber Towels/Steering wheel cover/Mequires 3 Step

Dont go to wal-mart. You're not gonna be able to get good stuff there. Go online.
