Keep it a sleeper or not?

Keep it a sleeper or not?
Should I keep it a sleeper and work on getting it into an 11 second 1/4 mile, or start making it flashier with wheels, lowering springs, and some interior stuff? Right now it looks like I havent done anything to it but tint the windows. Pics are coming next week.

Yea I hate seeing all these mustangs with complete saleen, roush, and cobra kits but they wont go anywhere. They do look good but if I had a complete 03 cobra kit on my car it better run like one. I bet its embarrasing when a ricer says, "Man thats an 03 cobra! those are like 400 horse!". Then he races you and you get beat.

I dunno, i dont see any reason not to make it a bit flashier. Ive done a little engine work, and my car really is fast enough for now, faster than about 98% of the cars i see to and from work. Ill keep the warranty, once that is up ill probably charge it and all that other jazz. Just be careful with appearance items, it is the small things that seem to work best, it is easy to end up with a ricer.
just be damn sure to leave the headlights and tail lights alone. and dont mess with the wing, you dont want a 747 wing like bannyD74364378

LOL at slappy. I agree. Lower it, put some nice wheels on it, and maybe a chin spoiler/grill delete and call it a day. Other subtle hints like a set of bullitt side scoops are awesome little things that make the car stand out.

yeah i can see it in the side view mirrors, but truth be told, thats my favorite angle to look at it. I also like looking directly behind it. At certain angles, it looks kinda funky, but I still love it.

Yea go sleeper, i mean i love saleen and cobra bodies but I HAVE A GT!!! So.. i dont wanna copy or be something im NOT! IMO But i think stangs look great from the floor!, only exterior parts iive done to mine are mach chin n delete, and getting new rims! You dont need much to make stangs flashy, they already are!!! just slap some rims on!!! lol

Well since my front end was just smashed in by someone, I will be putting a new bumper, headlights, and fender on it. There is a deep scratch in the hood but I dont think its enough to say the hood needs to be replaced. Heres my plan: 2001 Cobra front, 03 style headlights with clear sidemarkers, eibach sportline springs.
What do you guys think?
I dont want people to think its a cobra so I will keep all the other GT stuff on it, I just think the cobra bumper looks better IMO. If the hood needs to be replaced, I was thinking a Saleen S-281E hood or just another GT hood. I think it would be bada$$ to have an 01 cobra bumper with the extreme hood and a lowering kit. But If I do that then it would no longer be a sleeper. But on the other hand I would have a unique mustang.
