WTF? saw this on another mustang forum. has a slight chance of being a real consideration.

Wow, that's a good deal and it turned out looking great. I could only imagine how long that would stay on though. It seems like it could rip off pretty easy.

yeah, 10 bucks if it last 6 months and doesn't rip i think it would be worth it. don't know if fading would be an issue

I agree that it's still worth it, fading and cracking would probably be a big issue. The fact that it moves so much air makes me think it wouldn't last for it to fade and crack. Highway miles put on it would be brutal, but it's easy to replace so that's nothing to worry about.

Basically it would work quite well actually. You could also seperate your chin spoiler apart from everyone elses, by making it perfectly fit your car. It wont fade so much as it will bend, garage door seals are meant to be in the weather so itll be fine in that aspect, but how itll look after a pass of 100mph+, i dont know.

I've seen that stuff used on a Infinity G coupe and it looked good on it also. If I ever get a 99/01 Cobra front bumper like I want, then I might use this stuff to fill in the sides of the Mach 1 spoiler, since they are too short for the Cobra bumpers.
