I would not buy it. Dual is a cheap brand and it's only $299 for a reason. Go with a better brand like Pioneer, Alpine, or Kenwood. Are you stuck on having a flip out screen? Have you looked into the fixed screens which look great. I have one in my car.

It's a great unit, plus it's under $500. ipod hookup so you have all your music and movies at your fingertips and has the optional nav support if you want add that later on. You can also add the bluetooth which is only like $120 or so. It's a great unit though. Easy install too.

Yeah you can. Mines a 2000 as well. You just need to get the trim piece for 01-04 and be a little crafty. Didn't take me long to do mine.

The trim piece? You can get it at a Ford dealership. The install is pretty easy. You will notice on your trim piece now, there are 2 screws holding the trim on. Its where the trim is splitting up the two radio pieces. Those tabs behind their need to be cut and that will give you the double din opening. Once you start doing it, you'll see what you need to modify a bit.

if u do buy any flip screen dont open and close it everytime u step in and out of the car
those motors are known for going bad especially if u take a lot of short trips
