I don't know what mine are, it came with the car and the paperwork says medium tint from ProImage. I wouldn't go over the laws limit though, unless you don't care. I'm going to get mine darker when I get a newer Mustang.

My only problem is I can't back into dark parking spots, reverse parrell parking or anything like that. Even with a street light it's not that easy because you really can't see. I usually have to role down my window, but that's been a long time since I had to do something like that.

There will be better idea's soon, mine doesn't help much since I don't have the percentage, just pictures.

5% if you just love it dark. 15% if you want it dark and still have decent night vision. Not sure what your local laws are or how the cops are so thats something to consider.

+1 seanstang, i did mine 5% when i first got my car and got away with it for about 2 months then got a ticket for it and had to take it off i loved the dark look but cops did not love it, so now i tinted it 15% all around and actually like it better than my 5% b/c from a distance it looks just as dark but inside the car you can see much better out than with the 5% so i would recomend 15-20% i have a buddy who has 2% and it is sick haha, and my girlfriend has 35% and i just dont think that is dark enough for anybody

Now I actually have a question since I decide to look up the law here in Oregon.

Must allow more than 35% of light in.
Must not be more than 13% reflective.

Can I get 15% with that? Is there a such thing as 10%?

I have 15% and like it. If they made a 10%, I'd be all over that.

That's what I was thinking. I really really want to know what mine is now.

I'll probably get 15% too, if it meants the law or just under the law requiremeants.

I'll never do anything darker than about 20%. Jon, I don't know how you can even see at night with 5% man.. That's crazy.

yeah i just called a few minutes ago to a local place who all they do is window tint, and spoke directly with the owner (as it was him who answered the phone) but yeah quoted me $200 for all the windows with the visor strip on the windshield. 15% with a lifetime warranty

That's a pretty good price considering the warranty. That's what mine was.

I am finally getting mine done tomorrow. The cops in the town I work in don't like me already for some reason, so I am going with a conservative 35% on the fronts, but 15% on the rear window. He's doing it for $130.

2.5% on mine. You acquire night vision after driving around with tint this dark. I still need to get my back window tinted, and do something with my front, either tint it or just do a tint stripe at the top.

buy yeah, at least do 20%, 35% I imagine lets alot of light still in.

I have 15% and I love it, can still see at night yet it's dark enough in the day to give you privacy.

2.5% dude? You're nuts. lol

I would like to have mine darker, but in addition to avoiding problems with our wonderful local "to serve and protect" individuals, I cant see for **** at night anyway.

yeah, it's super dark. It came with the car, the guy did it himself(and it shows when you get to the tight edges). I was super concerned when i bought the car about how dark it was, and it definitely took a while to get used to.

You learn to back up at night, all by "feel" who needs to see, lol

15% tint here and I don't get harassed by cops, yet its dark enough during the day to keep the inside cooler and I can see at night.

Florida seems more forgiving on this issue. I am not sure the exact percentage, but my old Mach 1 and my Bobcat had tint so dark, it looked like the windows were painted black. Only got harassed one time- They were looking for an escaped prisoner, and checking every car going through the intersection by the jail. LOL He made it a point to let me know he aknowledged it, but didn't do anything.

Florida police are much more understanding for sure on tint laws. Most people who get tint tickets here get them as a ticket instead of say speeding. They will be like here is a tint ticket, slow it down next time. Unless you rock 5% then I have a few friends who have been pulled over for it.
