Default Window Tinting?

Hey i was just wondering if vert stangs can have window tinting on them or not? I think ive seen one with tint, but im not sure. If so then im gunna look at that, i figured it couldnt be because like the rear window isnt technically glass. Plus my parents never even mentioned tinting it when all the other car we have are tinted. Any info appreciated

I couldn't say for sure, but the static cling tint might work. I have it on my headlights and fogs, and the lenses arent glass. The only problem might be when the top is down...I don't know how well it would adhere to something that is basically folded up. Then again, it is pretty flexible.

If not on the rear window i might just do it on the others, it might look somewhat crappy but, tint actually helps protect your car too. Plus its a vert so when tops down who cares lol.

Convertibles are forbidden to have tint. But seriously, you can tint the window. Don't some vert mustangs have glass back windows, seems like my girlfriends car did maybe and the tint on that thing was dark as hell.

Well, i tried to put mustang a lettering decal on my rear window, but they said they couldnt do it because the rear window isnt made of glass.

What idiot told you that? You can put those decals on pretty much any smooth surface.

Well i mean i know you could put it on sure, But whenever its folded up when you lower the top it supposedly rubs against it, and would peel it off quickly

I thought Mustang convertibles had a glass rear window? Not that typical plastic **** that turns yellow on most convertibles lol.

Im pretty sure they do, i believe its like a rubery glass or something, it still bends but is still glass like ya know? Im just worried about when i put the top down, if the friction of the top on the glass would wear it off quickly, i guess ill have to ask my tinter.

Tint is sticky so you can stick it to whatever you want just sticking it to anything other then glass or plastic would be foolish
