Default wing or wingless?

Hello everyone. first off im sorry if i posted this in the wrong section. if its in the wrong section mod please move.

anyway today in the late afternoon. i decide to go sledding. not thinking i park in a spot that is filled with snow!(yes i know stupid) but anyway i go sledding for a couple hours and get back to my car. and the car is STUCK. wont get out. so i get a couple of my friends and my brother to push on the back. well anyway my brother decides to push on the wing. and he rips it right off . so now im debating weather to keep it off or just put a new one on. now im not made of money over here so if i do put one on it will be a stock wing. but if i keep it off im going to debadge my car also.
what do you guys think? keep it off and debadge my car. ill post pics up tomorrow when i get home from school

sorry. its an 03 gt

pic of when i first got the car

Yeah post pics. I don't think I've seen your car, in a while at least. Anyway, was it a clean break? What about the screws that hold the wing in? I can't imagine it being a clean break, so you might be stuck with it off....I definitely want to see some pictures though.

Yeah post a day pic when you can...and I think you'll probably have to do some work before you'll get that wing back in shape to get back on. Regardless, why would you debadge the car?

Hence the saying, "opinions are like ********, everybody has one".

I love the look of Mustangs without spoilers. The only one I'd put anywhere near my car now is a GT500 spoiler.

Was this wing just torn off? I unscrewed mine so it wouldn't crack and break...

I just took the wing off my 2000 the other day. Mine has the older style one. Previous owner decided to do the push the wing back further mod only, for some reason he thought it would be a better idea to break off two studs than drill two new holes so it rattled every time I closed the trunk ( and put a small rusty impression in the paint).

Mine was a no brainer to take off because of that hack job (plus I like the clean look better and its weight reduction!). A quick fix I did for the holes was fill them with extra door push clips that Mustangs have holding the door panels on. You can get them for a few bucks at the auto parts store. I just put a little silicon rtv on the bottom side to hold them in. Thats the water drain channel anyways so it really is only a cosmetic issue. When it comes time for paint I'll have the holes filled with bondo

I have seen a few Mustangs without a rear spoiler that I thought looked pretty cool, but for the most part, I think they look funny without one...especially if you can see where one used to be.

LOL...Here we go. No really, you have a beautiful car, man. It looks sleek. But at the same time, especially with that bodystyle, it would look meaner with a wing. I also understand that a mean look is not everyones priority.
