get some Alpine Type X (they are the comp series i believe they hit HARD in the right box, with an amp..) and one of these should be good for a mustang

Go Rockford Fosgate, best bang for your buck. Especially with P2's, just one can rock the whole car. I had a single 10" P1 in my SVT Foci and I never pushed the bass past 6, max was 10......

The so-called "Show Brands" are good as well, but I personally can't tell the difference for it to be worth the expensive price they usually have.

I've always installed Rockford amps and subs in my customer's cars and I've never heard a single complaint or heard anything better all-around.

Just my $0.02

that looks like a decent sub, i would honestly get a dual voice coil sub if you want move some air, and also the DB sensitivity on that sub is really low.....

the way i see it,
Alpine - not the loudest, but nice CLEAN bass
Kicker- not clean at all, but loud
Rockford - is kinda in the middle
Digital Design - a little more on the loud side, but still sound nice
Clarion - more on to the clean side

clean bass, is more of a crisp bass, sounds nice, not just boom boom boom...

I say the orion is a good choice if you are wanting a good loud spl sub, i personaly have a 10 inch infinity kappa perfect in my stang its a really good sound quality sub if thats what your looking for but it sounds to me like you are more for spl, so the orion would be good for you, i say rockford is overpriced and overrated and the P1 P2 and P3s are all shitty if you are goin rockford get the T power serries they are good, kicker is good but also overpriced if goin kicker get a CVX, alpines are good, type R or type X if you want more
