Default Mothers Polish?

Hey guys I bought mothers mag & aluminum polish because I wanted to polish my fr500's but now I am unsure if this is the correct polish for those wheels. They are black with a polished lip so I am unsure if this polish is the right one to use on them or if its not right then what is?

I am assuming they are clear coated, right? If so, I would make sure the Mothers is safe for clear coated wheels. If the are coated, I would use polish, the same stuff you use on the car.

They should be coated and you dont want to use that on those wheels.

I wouldn't use that on the black areas of the rim. I think that is the same stuff that I've used a few times on the polished lip of the rim before without any problems. Actually shined them up nicely. Is it the little red/white can?

I am sure those wheels are coated. If thats the case, when you polish them, you are not polishing aluminum...you are polishing the clear coat. Yea, it might and probably will shine them up, but I wouldn't do it. Kinda like using Wind-X on plexiglass.
