Default cleaning up the exhaust tips..

Not a big deal here just seeing if anyone has some remedings, i have a 9 year old car now so the tips on the exhaust have a deep black ring around the end and the rest are still pretty dirty.. not sure what kind of shine or polish you would use.

I have stock tips, and I used some fine grit (800-1500) to clean them up. Don't do it if you have chrome or anything but for the regular stainless tips it's fine. But something less aggresive than that would be any metal cleaner, polish. Go to autozone, pepboys, etc. they probably have several different things that would work.

I use chrome polish, but I don't remember if you had chrome tips or not.
