i just bought the exhaust system off of a mach1 that was being parted out, and the tips have some rust/asphault on them. i got most of it off with goo gone but iw as wondering what would be the best thing to take the rest off?

 

Clean them with #0000 steel wool and WD 40. Then polish them with some OTC metal polish like Megs or Mothers.

 

how about gettin tar and bugs off chrome exhaust tips?

i got regular bug and tar remover i pick up at a local auto store can i get that stuff there?
