Default Attention all audio nuts (Question)?

Hey I am wondering about the audio system in my car. It is not on the top of my priority list right yet but it is something I am pondering. Right now my car has the factor CD player and speakers. (It is good enough for me). I am not really into mind numbingly loud tunes but I do enjoy music alot to the point were I would like a nicer setup mostly a few options I would like to have.

I am wanting a CD changer preferably a 6 disk unit - like what was an option on the GTs. I don't want to mess with the aftermarket stuff as I don't want a complicated radio. (My friend has one that you have to basically go through what I call programming just to get a cd or radio station to play). I also don't want a big set of speakers. What I would like is the Mach type speakers that are up by the mirrors. (I hate to have to crank it to hear the lyrics why I have the windows down on the highway). In my Moms old GT it was nice you could still hear it without having to turn it up all the way.

So to sum it up is this possible with out a ton of money? I would like a setup with a 6 disc CD changer like in the GT's or (the one that was an option) and a set of the speakers that were next to the mirrors - sorry don't know what they are called.

Thanks for the advice.

What is your console setup like? Is it a double decker unit?

My friend just swapped out his OEM 6 cd changer in his GT, you could probably buy it off him if you want.

I don't know anything about radios so I posted a pic below.

Honestly, I think it's best to go with a newer CD player. They have MP3 types and u can simply make folders as though u were switching CD's and you can fit about 700MB's of songs. So at an average of 4-5MB's a song, thats at least 100 songs per cd. And my particular set up, i have a custom box in my truck that holds 2 12 inch subs. I have my treble set really high and my midrange but i have my bass lowered so my stock speakers dont crap out when i crank it up. The subs i have are 100w rms each, so they arent too rumbly and my cd player has a subwoofer option where i can change from -10 to +10 in 1 unit increments, i can even turn my subs off from the headunit so on days with the windows up i dont have to worry about it. On the highway i can crank it and turn my subs up a little and can hear everything.. I've had my player soo loud i turn heads all the way across my small town. And yes i'm going deaf from it. If you have any questions about audio i can help alot.
