stripes will cost me
so the stripes on my car are actually painted on and can't be peeled off.
i would like to repaint the car. what are the colors you guys think would look good and what kind of finish should it get.
i'm thinking dark shadow grey, silver, black, and bullit green.

here are the pics, i would've taken more over the weekend but i was not feeling well.
the stripes are actually painted on, so it's not vinyl. I'm thinking either a darker green, dark shadow grey, or black. all three would go great with a set of wheels i have in mine.

I say paint the car a dark shade of red and put wider stripes on it but paint them white or silver. Though I think the car looks great. There are many ways I guess someone could go wrong with it but I'm sure whatever color combos you pick they will look good. Good luck man and I cant wait to see the finished product.

If you get it painted a different color than what it currently is, it'll be expensive (assuming you are taking it to a shop to get painted). As it'll be much more work compared to just repaint it the same color (inner door trim, engine bay, trunk...etc). Just a heads up thats all, for the price of a decent paint job you could probably fork up some pretty good performance upgrades.
Personally I'd just add some 10' black vinyl strips to cover up the current ones, cheap and does the job. The money you save could do you gears, tune, suspension and a new set of wheels.
up to you though, your car, so do whatever you think its good.

only the 2004 40th ann. editions had those gold stripes and only on certain colors and the stripes were just vinyl stickers that could be peeled off.

there are some spots around the car that needs touching up on the paint. on the driver's door handle, the back bumper, and underneath the right headlight. the right side of the front bumper is not flushed, and the right taillight is not flushed. also whoever had the car before "I" had put in performance intake, but didn't replace or put on a filter.

Well, make sure you add the body kit thats unpainted, then a coffee can as an exhaust tip. Cut your springs so you can bounce around and make sure at least one of your bumpers is cracked. If you add decals, make sure all the brands are not applicable to your car. with that said, let the stabbing begin!
