Default help with the mach 460...

so i have the mach 460 sound system in my stang and i have a few questions about it..

1. i'm pretty sure a few of the 2.5'' highs are blown so whats a good brand of speakers to buy to replace them?

2. i know that the back 6x8s have a box but the front ones that aren't enclosed and they sound bad when the bass is past half way so i was thinkin is there any way i could build like a make shift box and get some kicker 6.5 cvts or another small shallow mount sub to fit there?

I've always loved Infinity's and they work great with the stock sound. Don't build a box. The reason it sounds like trash is cause Ford insulated the speakers with air. If you dynomat behind the speaker you'll see huge results. Use dense material like that. Concrete is the ideal insulator but..... haha.

Should work great so long as it doesn't touch the speaker. try to stick it as best you can to the door.
