Where I can get a 3" speaker? My R/T has a center channel speaker in the dash and it is apparently an odd size? I could have sworn I'd seen this size before, but can't seem to find them anymore. I know that I can put a 3.5" in, but I'll have to dremel the slot out a little and really don't feel like going through all of that crap just to replace a stupid speaker.

Help me out folks!

 

This has to be the strangest little bastard speaker I've ever seen.. It also seems from digging around for a replacement all day had basically led me no where.

I ended up ordering a pair of Kicker (08KS350) 3.5" speakers from shopaudiovideo.com, hopefully it will work.. We'll see. I only need one, so I guess I'll have a back-up, just in case.. lol

BTW: I cut the mesch off to check out the voice-coil and yes, it's blown.. ha!

 

try looking on crutchfield.com they have to have at least 1 pair that fits.

All I can figure is that it's just a Dodge/Mitsu part that is specifically made for them by Infinity. I just ended up ordering a set of 3.5" Kickers. I'll dremel out the slot to mount it if I have to. The speaker, from my research from dodge is about $70.00 and It's a POS. Got the set of Kickers for $45.00 shipped and I'll end up with a backup if I blow one.. lol

 

I got these Infinity's from best buy i think. They are 3 1/2 though, dont know if they'll fit. Had them in my 87 Monte Carlo.
