my mother backed into my mustang. the hitch on her van put a nice hole in the front bumper. i'm getting a 99 cobra bumper to replace its for $165. how much is a reasonable amount to pay to have it painted?

 

Prices vary a lot from state to state so its hard to say. Your best bet is not to go with the first place you call. Call many body shops in your area get quotes and then see what kinda work they do. As in go down to the place you think you want it done at and see what they have been working on and see if its up to your standards or not.

 

Probably around $200- $300+?

 

I bought a 2005+ gt500 bumper and to get it painted its costing me 300 for the paint so i would say around 200-400 at a body shop

 

figure 300 bones... that seems to be about standard for a bumper cover. Make sure she didn't destroy the support, support foam or the header panel.

 

Where did you find a 99 cobra bumper for $165?!
