Default Indash DVD/CD

Hi,

I have a Mustang GT 2005, I´ve been looking for some Indash DVD/CD Players. Does anyone have any experience on that? All help is well appreciated!

I´m looking for one with a 7" screen that will fill out for the old one, something like this:

mine fits great... there is a gps version but thats 999.99 mine was 600 cause i opted to go without gps....the bluetooth us an add on feature just llike everything else(xm, sirius, ipod cable etc) where you gotta buy an extra piece... i just went with the ipod cable to play my vidoes and ipod music... dont know how important it is but, you WILL NOT be able to play video of any kind while driving unless you get it hooked up the right way; which is illegal. i got lucky and some kid at Best Bu hooked me up. another stereo shop in town was not gonna do it that way so i wound up at best buy and lucked out...

i was looking to get one of these new units also. I have an old kenwood unit that an old g/f bought for me and I like watching the DVDs of concerts and such, and every now and then a booty movie when im feeling squirly. It freaking just never turned back on one day. Thinking about maybe an alpine unit, but not for 900 prolly 1000+. Anyhow...... Some of the descriptions say " you can watch movies when not in drive" Does this mean that you absolutely cant watch them while in drive, or is that a legal thing since most states prohibit the movies in moving cars. I just dont want to spend 800-900 bucks on it and then find out i cant even watch them while moving.

i think in all states its illegal to have a movie on displa and drive. obviously this does not apply to suvs and 4 doors with tvs in headrests so passengers can see. but i know it was illegal in my 94 dodge ram i had ion cali and its illegal in my mustang here in nevada. but like i said its just one wire that ou have to ground to the body of the car to bypass that. i would have no idea how to do it but a local shop should be able to pull it off if you go and bs with the dudes. luckily i got a cool kid that was willing to do it and i love it.it is a distration though and you will need to be careful i just didnt see the point of getting a screen if i couldnt watch movies at anytime....

Default Kenwood DNX7100

I just recentyly installed a kenwood DNX7100 in my 07 and it looks great with a 7 inch screen and all video works even when you are driving . Im guessing its cause of the built in GPS.
