im going to get my windows tinted in the next week or two. should i get 35% or 20% tint i want to do the same percent all the way around and i dont want to **** cops off to much so i was going to get 35% what do you guys thing?

 

If you dont want to **** off cops then you have to get legal tints in front and the rest could be darker.

 

Whats the legal limit where you live?

 

i saw it said 70% all the way around. and another websight said it must let in 70% of light. 70% would be clear right?

I have 20% all around on mine but ive never been stopped by a cop about it...the person at the tint shop said they aren't going to stop you for it unless your windshield is tinted, it is very noticeably past the legal limit, or if your in a shady part creeping slowly looking like your up to no good and they have nothing else to do with their time and stop you...20% won't draw attention to you like 5 or 10% would you'll be fine

yeah that what i was think, i wanted to go darker but im not risking it.

 

Dunno yesterday I was pulled over for just my tint on my driver/passenger window.

Apparently law here is NO TINT on those two windows...lame ****..

So I'll be going much lighter on those..

wouldn't go any darker than 35% with those numbers as your laws. Theres still a good chance you will get a ticket though that sounds pretty strict.

 

yeah i might just wait on tint and get some springs. i really cant afford to get a ticket right now.

i think my window tint is too light( it think i have 20% or 25% lol) but i wish i would have gotten it darker.

and i really don't want to risk getting a ticket.
