Default sidescoop removal

I'm ready to install my bullit sidescoops and just wanted to check for sure how the oem scoops were attached. I assume they are held on by a double sided tape, is that correct? Any advice on safely getting them off?

clips hold them on, and you basically yank them off. There is almost no way to not break the clips holding them on, so you should have new clips for both sides ready for both sides when you go to remove the old scoops.

Zig has the right idea. just pull those suckers right off. they should be attatched by 6 clips. The Bullitts have only 3, so make sure u use some good double sided tape to secure the rest of the new scoops. One of mine flew off of my car and found its way under my tire while i was going 55mph. it was only a slight crack... but a pita because i did not secure them well enough and i learned the hard way.
