Default replacing door speakers

What do I have to do to get at the door speakers in my 99 GT? Does the whole door panel have to be removed or just the grille? I haven't really even looked at it yet...just ordered the speakers last night.

You have to remove the whole door panel.

lol, I like how it comes off like: "you have to remove the WHOLE door panel!" Kind of makes it sound like it's a tough job.. haha!

It's really simple to remove and it shouldn't take you more than about 2-3 minutes.. The PITA is putting it back on! But it's not all that big of a deal either.

Well thats because he asked if it was the whole panel or just the speaker grill...

And yes, its not hard at all to take off. But aligning it all up when putting it back on can be rather frustrating.

Lol, you should have heard how I described to my friend how to replace the headlight bulbs in a VW.

It's way too much work for something simple so I said "you have to take off the fenders and the intake system" and he thought I was dead serious.
