i want to make my tail light blackout but i dont what to buy cover i want to paint them i want a good lasting paint over month it wont fade out. Where can i buy it from?

 

I used VHT Nightshades, did it in august and still looks the same. If you have a local speed shop they might have it, thats where i got mine from. Otherwise try pep boys or autozone, etc. just make sure your taillights are clean of any grease or wax and apply a few LIGHT coats(very important).

 

ok how do i clean the grease i'n my case Mustang Lens Paint that i got from AM how do i take it off?

 

u can also buy the lens cleaner at pepboys, vatozone, etc..

 

I used windex to clean mine off works like a charm. But if you want to do it the proper way have a paint shop Lightly dust them, and put some clear coat on it...

 

I used an auto body degreser, I dont remember the name though. You can also use rubbing alchohol, and remember very light coats. I tested it on my high mount brake light first since its not as noticeable and it cleans up easy if you **** up.
