I just picked up a cobra R hood (too good of a deal and I couldn't pass it up). Problem is the hood will latch but it won't stay down tight. I have exactly no experience in hoods so any input would be great.

 

maybe you need hood pins.

there could be an adjustment problem as well. when i first installed mine it wouldnt close right i would have to slam the crap out of it to get it to fully lock in. the body shop fixed my hood problems. i also am not running hood pins with my hood currently cervini's road tested to 170+ MPH. i pick up the hood pins in may.

 

yea i spent the morning adjusting it and messing around and finally got it to lock in
