Thanks for the advise and i get your point completely.
A body shop repainted the entire drivers side about 3 months ago. The amount of dirt in the paint is unbelievable and they refused to repaint it. Also, theres a great deal of orange peal in some areas. The combination of the two is very noticable even from a distance. Is this a good reason to wetsand? how else can i get both out?

I dont think the guy wetsand the entire car, just surface areas (hood, roof, deck lid...) and in places with dirt and orange peal.

Would this be a better choice for my situation?

If they refuse to repaint it then Id make them pay for another shop to repaint it. Either way, they owe you a repaint, not a wet sand. Dont let them jerk you around.

so i thought it was done but i had to drive home in the snow. lets go spring... get on the ball. haha
