Light scratches
You know when you go to the do it yourself car wash and you use the foamy brush, well now that dang brush scratched the living hell out my car, so my question is how do i get rid of them bang scratches all over my car?

A clay bar DOES NOT remove scratches from your paint. It removes contaminants that regular washing cant remove such as over spray, bugs, tar, etc. In fact, if you clay wrong, or you use an aggressive clay bar, then you can induce even more marring. If you want to remove scratches, then you need to get a polish. There are millions of different polishes out there. Some remove imperfections while others partially remove them and hide them. I have experience with Poorboys SSR's, Pinnacle XMT, Menzerna, and Optimum. Out of those, Menzerna is the best, but most expensive and you need to use a machine. If you dont have a machine and want to do this by hand, then it will take awhile and you wont get nearly the results you would using a machine. So first things first, do you want to do this by hand, or machine? And do you want to remove these imperfections or do you want to hide them? Also, how much are you willing to spend?

i knew that was coming, its like the 40.oo one from walmart...sucker works good, its not a fancy one...or do i need one of them? i got meguiars polish. will that work?

Well you gotta know your products in order to do it right. Some $40 buffer from Walmart probably wont cut it. Some goes for the Megs polish. You gotta be a little more descriptive.
Heres what Id do. Start by washing the car, then clay it using Mothers clay bar. You can find that locally. Get yourself a Porter Cable 7424, pads, polish, microfiber towels, and some wax or sealant. For pads I recommend Lake Country CCS 5 1/4"- 5 1/2" pads. Adams, Poorboys, or Menzerna polish. Ive got some Pinnacle XMT polish for sale if you're interested in that too. For microfiber towels I recommend PakShak ultra plush. You can use those for everything. For wax, well the price for waxes varies, you could use some Megs stuff, or some OTC stuff. It depends on how much you want to spend. Ive got some Wolfgang Sealant for sale.
There are videos floating around all over the net on how to properly use a PC.

very well said. if you want to get the scratches out all the way, you'll need to repaint the car.
i found these tips on how to maintain the paint on your car.
Handwashing
Wash your car at least thrice a week using a 100% cotton wash mitt or high quality microfiber sponge to prevent the surface from scratches
Use only car shampoos and never use household or industrial liquid or powder soaps as they may damage or strip off the protective wax coating of the car
Clean the rims and tires first
Wash off the dirt, sand and soil so these will not rub onto your car’s surface.
Wash it from top then downwards, in straight lines and overlapping strokes so not to result with swirl marks.
Dry the car by opening all doors and lids to expose some semi-hidden areas as they may become wet during the washing process. Follow through with wiping these areas with a chamois or microfiber towel.

if i go to a car wash, it's to spray the crusty stuff off, and i take my chamois with me, and dry it off. i'll even take a bucket and a soft sponge or cotton cloth with me and handwash the hard dirt off.
if i go to an automatic...i just go through the one that sprays, the water, soap and wax on, then uses the vector nozzle dryers much easier on the paint, and then i finish drying it off with the chamois.

Just don't go to any car washes. Hand wash your car.
Don't use Microfiber Wash mitts either. The dirt gets easily trapped in the little fibers and its hard to get out and you just rub it into your paint. Use a wool mitt, you can find them at autozone.

Can you explain this better. I dont have a problem removing the majority of scratches with my rotary.

The problem is, his statement is WAYYY to general. It can be removed unless the scratch goes WELL into the clear coat, and you'll risk clear coat failure by wet sanding it too much.
You probably have scratches and swirl marks. Not a big deal.
