I think they are pretty cool. You dont see them very often, they are pretty unique. I got the kit as a gift last year. It is a high price tag for a small change. It definitely draws some attention to the car. Literally FIVE minutes after i hit the road after the install, i had another mustang driver ask me where i got them. I have the "chase" feature on my 2001.

Im sittin on the fence on those things.

i think if the transition from on to off was a bit faster.
they seem to just flow a bit much. maybe if they would chase on real quick, hold on, then chase off real quick.

That's it... I'm so definitely coming out with a solder-it-your-damn-self sequential kit. It's just too damned easy to include all the components in a box and let you guys solder it yourself for like 1/10th the cost.

What does everyone think of that? Would you buy a kit if you had to solder it yourself but there's at least great instructions?

as a matter of fact, that is EXACTLY how that kit works on 99-04 stangs. When i installed mine, it required a replacement (included) flasher for under the dash. The rate of speed as far as on and off for the blinker is half. With the blinker race reduced, there is more room for adjustment. I made mine work just like you said: it chases on quickly, remains on for a moment, and chases out. I like how the "chase" pattern is distinguished on my car.

On the other hand, i help a friend install the module on his 2007 stang. Install was nearly identical, but his car used the factory flasher. The rate of the flasher remained as fast as factory... and gave the result of what you saw on the youtube video.

I can see what i can do as far as getting a video of my car's lights. I am at school, so it might be a while.

They actually do have a sequential taillight kit that's splice in, somewhere.

Yeah the plug in kits cost a ton, even the solder it yourself kits are a rip off. Hence why i will never do it. I do think it looks cool though.

I like them! Kind of retro (back to the 60's). I wish my 94 GT Vert had vertical lights instead of horizontals. Don't think the sequentials would look good go up or down.

You would have to get newer taillights and harness which there is a kit.
