Default Front plate bracket?

yes I searched...I found the entire 2 threads associated with this issue...they didn't lead anywhere solid, and some time has passed since they have been looked at. Now that I moved back to Ohio, I have to have a front plate...I will not have holes in my front bumper cover. I might just make one...but has anyone seen one for 99-04 cars? Google was a bust.

There is a way around it...I'd just have to make one. Not that hard...but I wanted to just buy one so I could have it ASAP. maybe the guy on here who made one will chime in...but i think home depot will be my friend on this one.

here try something like this... it should work... but i'm not 100% sure

ohh just thought of something else. have the front piece where you can take it off. so make two little spots for screw, and bend the bottom pice up just enough to have room for the screws. that way it will be able to go on and off. take off the front peice. unscrew the screws and slide the back piece off the back of the bumper....

i can redraw my idea it it will help

im not sure if i'd trust the double sided tape.

you could probably get some aluminum brackets, and run them through the bottom spoiler opening and find something to attach them with, but that way they will be out of sight.

good luck!

I used the double sided tape and it has been holding since 03.
The pressure washer wont even shake it loose.

glad to hear that! I tried moving it after I stuck it on and I couldn't, so it's definitely on there.

friend was gunna get a ticket for no front plate yesterday... so cop says if you can put it on right here you won't get a ticket. Buddy walks to the trunk, grabs the plate and puts it on the front where the officer hadn't noticed the 4 slips of velcro on the bumper. Tossed the plate at the bumper and we're off. Cop was irritated that it was velcro'd but let him off without a ticket.

I really honestly don't like white cars unless they are extremely clean. I like mine, because I detailed the sh*t out of it, and its so glossy and shiny. I hate flat whites, and i most definitely hate dirty white cars. Yuck.

Theres nothing like a clean, black car.

Man yer a weirdo

lol
White cars shine just like anything else but just not in direct sunlight, reflect way too much light so it looks "flat" as you would say.

Trust me i love the way my car looks but thats because its clean. When i first got my car, i hated the color because it wasn't properly taken care of. After countless hours of basically restoration I got it the way i wanted it.

Its just my opinion sucka. I love the white S281's but i dont like the Cobras or Machs in white. Or pretty much most GT's.

x2!!! No front plates in Tennessee either! I'm getting a 03 Cobra Front for mine as well. i had front plates when i lived in Missouri, so i had to get a vanity plate to hide the holes until I get my new front bumper.
