Default Am i washing and detailing correctly?

So i bought some new stuff today to wash and detail my car for prom here in Texas. So this is my plan for the exterior of the car tell me i f im doing these things in the correct order.
1. Wheels/Tires
2. Wash car
3. Clay Bar
4. Wash car
5. Meguiar's Show Car Glaze Polish
6. Meguiar's Cleaner Wax
7. Meguiar's Hi-Tech Yellow Wax

That's my plan I think i have the stuff in the correct order but i wasn't positve if i should do the glaze before or after the cleaner wax. I know the yellow wax comes last though. So does that sound like it will be really nice looking and do i have those steps in the correct order? Thanx all. I bet it will look awesome for my prom.

It's not polishing wax just show car polishing glaze. So again what is the correct order because it is not a polishing wax or whatever. I couldn't find it on the bottles either.

#5 and #6 should be reversed...you apply the cleaner to help remove contamination then follow with polish then top with wax.

I unserstand what ya'll are saying but the cleaner wax is a wax as well not just a paint cleaner. I thought that the polish should go before anysort of waxing? It's not a cleaner it's a liquid wax that has cleaning elements in it.

They just call it a wax; it is indeed a pre cleaner and is the first step to remove oxidation, contamination, scratches, etc. A cleaner can and will dull the finish which is why a polish comes next as it restores the shine and helps remove some micro marring; makes it like new then you seal it with a wax to keep the shine. Hope this makes sense.

make sure you dont use the same thing you clean your wheels with on your paint, lots of people do that and don't realize how bad it is for your paint.
