ok so my prom is coming up and i need to do a full detail on my car...how long do you think it will take and any recommendations...here's my line up

1. take of rims and polish them inside and out.

2. wash and shammy down the car.

3. Clay bar the car with Mother's clay bar and there instant detailer.

4. 3 stage mother's wax kit

and do you have to add my coats of wax to increase the shine or do i just do all 3 stages once??????

read the top of this forum. there is a detail sticky to answer all the questions you just posted.

 

that process sounds good. adding another coat of wax might give it a deeper or wetter shine but I am not familiar with mothers and how well their products work. You can also quick detail the car after each mothers step to produce a better shine.

 

take out your headlights when your waxing...
