When I ordered my sct livewire with custom tune I wasn't sure how many custom tunes I was allowed for free, does anyone know? If it was only the one tune for free how much more does it cost for another tune? Thanks

They claim free tunes for life. I'm sure you can't be a pain in the *** and get like 1,000 tunes but they'll most likely give you however many you need. Which can't be that many.

 

You can only have one tune at a time in the tuner though right? The SCT holds pre-loaded and then one custom I believe. I'm sure you could get more, but when you buy it they only give you one. That's what I got.

 

You can delete the preloaded tunes using LiveLoad.

I have an XCal2, and it only holds up to 3 tunes. I'm sure the newer ones hold more.

 

The tuner holds 3 custom tunes.

 

LiveWire, X3, and SF3 tuners all hold both the Pre-Loaded strategy tunes, 3 Custom Tunes, and Your Stock Tune at the same time. There is no need to delete the Pre-Loaded Tunes on these new generation devices.

The free tunes for life, most people only need one tune off the bat. Some need a few more for different octanes and configurations. You just order what you need for your car and we provide it. And if you need updated tunes in the future, you just give us a call.
