Exclamation Gear ???

Do I need the installation kit for gears, when I purchase the gear package? I only have 5,000 miles on my car and I was wondering if I need the seals, or will they just use my original parts?

See what the shop says that is installing them. Some will tell you to get seals and bearings and some won't. Even with 12,000 miles the guy thats doing mine said I at least need a pinion bearing b/c it is possible it could get damaged during removal. I just went ahead and got the whole master kit, cheap insurance imo.

If you go with the FRPP gears they come with the shim kit and all that, but you may need to buy a pinion bearing because yours will probably be damaged during the install. The shop I went to had them there because it is so common. You don't need new seals and **** cause yours are pretty much new, any shop that tells you they need to be replaced is retarded.
