Good call going with NX. You wont be disappointed. As for a nozzle vs. the plate system? I went from a ZEX nozzle to the NX plate and the difference was huge. The zex nozzle should work about the same as any other nozzle. The power came on real strong at first (which I feel is hard on the engine) and then it kind of tapered off as the RPM's rose. This I believe is because of poor distrubution or it was running rich at high RPMs. I ditched that setup and got the plate.
Now that I have the plate the system works MUCH better. The power comes on alot smoother instead of the hard jerk like with the nozzle. The power also pulls all the way to the redline. The plate is also well integrated within the intake manifolds. It looks professional. The nozzle was just kind of stuck in the intake tube like everyone elses. I am running a 100 shot (at the wheels) with stock tune, NGK tR6 plugs, and plain 93 octane with no signs of detonation. The ZEX 100 shot (at the flywheel) would start knocking with plain 93 octane. Car is also much faster. Saw a SS camaro the other day that said "8ASUPRA" on the liscense plate. Yea he got dusted too.
