thats what i said above its not listed but he sells them. im going to help him and get his website udated with all the products that he sells. give them a call and you can discuss his options. i asked how much it would cost for a stage 2 he told me 3700 without maf and injectors. the stage 2 only comes with a 3 core or the sheetmetal 3 core which is more.

the stage 2 has a different impeller blade it looks weird, supposedly its 70% more effecient then a vortech blower.

How could it be 70% more efficient when the Vortech is already 72% efficient? (thats non-intercooled too! imagine what it could be if intercooled!)

Talking I Told u so;)

Yay! finnaly - anyway I would venture to say that you can probably get the whole shabang for 4K with injectors maf and all delivered fairly easily... check that texashotrod shop on ebay - they will deal with you - lets us know what you end up paying and all that the techincals that result,

Exclamation ?

Im not trying to be negative but your horsepower numbers are very low for 12lbs on a stage 2 - are you sure that dyno is accurate that seems alot more like 8lbs - or wut are you running in the quarter?

Default stage 2... again

The stage 2 is a different setup - don't buy the H.O. get the stage 2 - texashotrodshop on ebay has them - so does rpmoutlet.com at very good prices for complete setups. As per your question GT motors are worth 450 hp more than that isnt safe - so 8lbs is completely safe on the intercooled procharger and get you in the high 11's if you drive it right - also 10lbs is very very safe with a good tune - make sure you get the procharger diablo chip in the kit or get it dyno tuned locally - over 10lbs is not recommended - you can do 12lbs but your pushing your luck - if your going to beat it all the time 8lbs may be better but for a daily driver - mostly easy driving and a strip appearance every once in a while the 10lbs is the way to go bc u can run low and mid 11's and feel confident that your car is reliable. I know a guy who ran 14lbs for 2 yrs - still runs but is about to blow lol - long story short Im going with 10lbs as it is safe with incredible performance gains - make sure you get the 42# injectors and a lighting 90mm maf to go with - worth xtra 20hp - my goal is going to be around 405-425 to the wheels - so about 475 hp - bc I have long tube headers - throttle body and pullies - basically the more horsepower u can get for the boost is what you want - the culprit to engine failure isnt really horsepower - its the boost so the engine is safe for 10lbs and you can make over 450 hp with that 10lbs then go for it- as the motor isn't really going under any more stress than any other 10lbs setup - the difference bigger its flowing better bc of the other mods. A stock GT - (w/cat backs) and performance street tires can run high 11's and low 12's on 93 - with no other modifcations
SUMMATION: BAD ***

the non-sheetmetal 3core intercooler is very restrictive. also, dont do diablo. get a custom sct tune. the key to power adders on stock motors is in tuning. also use an RR pulley and a powerpipe. youll gain boost without causing more parasitic loss

^^^agree The procharger kit sux as far as what it comes with. 36 lb injectors, not 42. No 90MM maf, horrible fuel pump, need a focus, steeda or cobra. I don't want to pay for all this stuff that i dont want, and they don;t have tuner kits, and they're liitle "upgrades" to say larger injectors, maf, pump, the prices are outrageous

I can do an S-trim with 42lb injectors, 90mm lightening maf, spark plugs, focus pump for 3,000 dollars!!!!! add another 150 bux if I want a T-trim.
Basically with gauges and labor and tax, I could do this set up for abour 3,800 dollars. The procharger stage 2 kit is 4000 alone, before the upgrades that I wouold feel comfortable with, gauges, and labor. I'm going to be intercooling the S or T-trim with the Paxton A/A intercooler which is a better intercooler than the procharger.

Yea, I know the procharger would make a tad more being intercooled and the s-trim being non intercooled, but when i do intercool the s-trim I think they would be dead even at the same boost, and honestly, maybe a little bit more. But seriously if i can make 360RWHP with 8psi on an S-trim non-intercooled, it;s not a big deal if a procharger could make 10-15 more hp. Think about it, I would have a 420+ HP car in the engine, thats awesome!

timing is what kills motors. with high boost youll prolly bend a rod. you can only use stock pullies on a procharged and vortech application. i dont have long tubes or x pipe. i still have stock h pipe and headers. hahahaha. good luck making it to 425 rwhp. oh yeah get rid of diablo most of the tuners use sct

Stanger00 is right on timing and detenation cause stock motor to go buh bye.

I have been running my boost up their for awhile now and no problems than normal S/C problems. Getting 450 with stock motor good luck. You'll need some good supporting mods for that if you want the stocker to hold up. Or just be careful witht the boost.

Actually the procharger is cheaper - the vortech doenst include an intercooler - and I see procharged stocker GT's making 400rwhp all day - you must not have the stage 2 kit do you?

Ya I do. Smaller pulley than stock making steady numbers. Also Auto Tranny. Wish I made 400 to the rear but ain't gona chance it because that will put the power at the fly close to or over 450. Don't want to grenade my motor just yet.

Their is no diff between the stage 1 and stage 2, unless you have a cobra. The stage 2 kit does come with a 3 core. And I'm not to sure about the whole restriction thing. I'm safely making 380hp with 13# of boost.

And Brantheman is gay!

You will spend a bunch with procharger. Over 6K invested so far and ot really satisfied with it. So now I need to donate a kidney for a built block.

my auto is holding up fine just waiting for it to die before i spend 2 grand to fix it. i have over 450 at the fly x-mas is when i should be getting my gauges so i should have some boost numbers then. i should be at 10 psi but im thinking im at 12 pounds of boost.

just because the vortech dont come with a intercooler doesnt mean you cant add one. there are people out there that put one together themselves for less then a thousand.

Default how many times does it take?

I thought we settled this already - the stage for last time - is bigger with reworked internals - a new impeller and bigger pipes in and out - it also includes the 3 core cooler - the difference is 50 more hp in the stage2 than the stage1 at the same bost level. - you shoul dbe able to get a complete kit - maf and injectors for 4,000K if you spend more than 4,200 you've spent too much.

The stage 2 doesn't come with injectors or MAF or a pump that is worth a damn. Also sometime you have to watch out some MAFs are pegging out way to early and you need a Maf extender. Also I saw in a article either in MM&FF's or 5.0 the impeller is different for the P-1 stage 2. Also bought a cheapo vac/boost guage today installed it and I'm pushing 12# tranny is only thing holding me back.

New MPH shortblock in my future hehehehe more boost here I come!

So how much did u pay after you did the appropriate maf, injectors, and pump. Only on the supercharger, not anything, meaning tranny or what not

I got the kit for 3600 dollars minus the MAF and Fuel injectors. Blue Oval racing has MAF's dirt cheap and buy ford racing has injectors cheap as well.
Probably put you at 4000 all together.

u need a blow thru maf, unless u convert. and yes the p1sc2 is a different blower but it depends on the kit you buy from your dealer which blower u get.
