tach signal

Default tach signal

i cant seem to get i tach signal for my window switch ...i need help i have a 96 gt any help would be great

I know its one of the wires going to the coil pack. Gotta check them to find the right one.

which side ..the drivers side or pass. i tried both of the neg wires on drivers side . i looked up how install a aftermarket tach and it said to get a signal from the tach in the clucter . it didnt seem hard to do .. do you think that would be ok?

I'm sure you can do it that way, but my MSD window switch is in the engine bay so I didn't see a reason to get it from inside the car when the coil pack is right there. You should be able to get a coil signal from either coil pack. Just have to use a manual or tester and find the correct wire. That's what I did when I did mine. But I have C.O.P. not coil packs so I can't tell you which one.

i finally got all of the nitrous stuff installed .. but when i opened to bottle the pressure only went up to 600 psi its is only about 40 outside right now where i live ..could i still use it with only 600 psi?

Yes, but its going to be super super rich. Take the bottle inside turn the shower on full hot and heat that bottle up.

Oh and get a damn bottle heater. The Compucar ones are like $45 for them. But I have done the shower trick before I had a heater lol. Just be sure to of course dry it off.

Mine is setup so that I don't ever leave the heater on by accident. So its wired to the same 12v switched source I used for the nitrous kit.
