Eaton on V6.

When did I say anything about wanting sound? I have a six, I am still paying for it. Stock internals and tranny is the only thing stock.... Read my sig? 8.8 rear 3:55 gears?
I dont care about running 9s. I just want to run 13s and that is enough for me. If I ever did want to run faster then that I will buy something that can handle it. Make due with whats given to you and I bought a six before I new anything about cars. Know that I do I am trying to make the best of it. I know about better cars putting small things on them blowing the modded 6s away, my dream car is a supra, Ill prob never get one, but Ive seen some crazy *** **** with that car in person not on youtube. The six is gonna be with me for along time, I feel like after its paid off and what not to buy a newer GT 2011 and up or something nicer like that, I know its not easy and it costs alot, Im building my suspension as well, and the performance stuff isnt going to happen till I get out of school 2 years away. Im dealing with what I can right now and thats body mods and the stereo. Ive read alot of Js posts and i know that he didnt start big either, he was one of the 1st ppl to use TMA turbo kits I think.
The guy who is making kits told us that he wants to make them cheap but good, he is testing them on his cars right now, and should have them up within the year.

I posted my 1st reply because seeing the idea of an eaton on a 6, get chewed out made me mad since I think its cool as hell.
Everyone Ive met with a V8 (may not pertain to you so dont take it personally) has a bigger ego then anyone else in the world.
I was trying to defend my car in a way.

No point in trying to defend your car. Most of the people I acknowledge on here have atleast a half a brain and realize a v6 can run pretty hard. An eaton still is not worth the hassle. period.

I didn't say anything about you mentioning sound. The OP made a thread to get people's opinion on the eaton and everyone gave theirs. The cost just isn't worth the gain. You might think so, but the majority here doesn't. You have your opinion like everyone else. You came in here saying it's way cooler to have a 6, but in my opinion it's way cooler to have a 8. We can go back and forth all day saying well if you do this to this car, it will beat this car and vice versa. Do whatever makes you happy, but remember, if you are asking for advice, your not always going to get what you might want to hear.

00blkstanggt just hates me for some reason, but i just want the eaton for the fact that its a roots type and has a whine to it, like theres a GT in my county with a vortech on it and u wouldnt know it had a charger on it unless u listen really hard, i think it also looks cooler, id really like to have one like mad max with the butterflys on it opening n stuff. but ahh dreams are dreams.

People probably hate you because you had big ugly reems on your car for a while.

I don't hate you, but I'll be honest, you have some pretty dumb posts that makes me shake my head. Me and the rest of the people here were just telling you that trying to run 4psi is not worth the cost. Spending that much money just to have the supercharger whine is definitely not worth it. Oh, and once I have my Vortech on, you'll definitely hear it.

I like the idea of the M112 on the little V6 but have to agree that it isn't worth it just for some sound and 4psi. And you can definately hear a Vortech with straight cut gears at any rpm, they sound nasty . I just can't remember if they still make any of them like that or when they made the change to helical gears.
