Default Kenne Bell 2.1

Hey guys, I haven't been on here in some time. I've decided to put my truck away and just make it a show queen, so the GT is officially my track *****/daily driver. I got my header back exhaust, just waiting on a cat back so I can install it all. I'm going to go with a kenne bell 2.1 intercooled kit next spring. I'm going to go with their intake and upraded MAF, going to run the boost-a-pump for the time being until I can upgrade the fuel system fully. Aluminum driveshaft and new clutch. Should I get new axle's and 3.73's while I'm at it? Anything else I should get?

I think 3.73s with a KB will be too much gear.

3.73's will be good he will be in the ball park of 400-420 hp with the 9 psi pulley. the 3650 he should be passing the 1/4 mile traps close to red line in 4th gear. thats all i really think about when it comes to gears hp and a 26" tire.

I always figured it'd be too much gear as well. On my the 2010, its going to have the FRPP Whipple Twin Screw supercharger that boosts power up to around 500, and i was going to go with 3.55's, and was even considering stock gears.

If you are going to drag race with sticky tires you will for sure want to upgrade to 31spline axles and posi. I would do 4.10s personally with a sticky tire, but that choice is up to you.

I will be going to the track, but not enough to justify 4.10's. A few people have told me that 3.31's would be a good idea, but I'm not so sure. It's mostly going to be a street car, so maybe I'll stick with my stock gearing.
