Default 1999 gt

Anyone think it'd be worth putting a procharger on a 1999 mustang w/ 83k?

hell yes it is...boost is the ****.

have a leak down test done if you are doubting your engine.

i put a blower on my car at 68k miles and i have 91k on her now. still kicking like the day she did when it was on the dyno.

i bought my kit back in september 2005 and i paid about 5400 for a modular powerhouse mongoose vortech kit with paxton cooler, 3.1 pulley, KB BAP, 4 inch powerpipe, vortech mini-race bypass.

i paid a huge premium for a no head-ache install and tune. this car made over 400 hp on a mail order tune and its a auto.

yes it is, if youve taken good care of the motor it should be fine.

just add around 1k for install just because stuff happens. it should cost less but i always say over estimate.

Hey, just wondering how your auto is holding up? Did you beef up the trans or rear end at all?

I know his auto didnt hold up for him. I have talked to him and he has a street/strip performance auto. I have an auto as well and I have 370rwhp with the stock converter and mine is going out on me. I haven't made up my mind yet if I want a tko 500 or a built auto.
