Default VCN 1000 jetting

I finally got my vcn 1000 custom nitrous jets and there is definetly a difference from what the kit comes with. The custom jets are sized .060 = 100 shot and .065 = 125 shot I will post later all the sizes and color codes that these jets come in as per my conversation with a few of the Python injection techs.

I talked to a representative at Python-injection and was told they did not Make Custom nozzles. Where did you hear this?

The .055" Clear aluminum nozzle is the 100 shot nozzle. At least that is what the technician told me.

Do you remember the tech's name you spoke with? I called once with a question while i was installing the kit, and that tech told me that they could make one up for me no problem. I want to get to the bottom of that.

thanks in advance, let us know how it does on the new nozzles.

Depending who you talk too?? you can definetly get some mixed reviews :confused1 but I am telling you! they DO custom nozzles. I got mine in a couple of weeks ago Talk to Jose the receptionist will bounce you all over that Company finding an answer :hmh: I was also told about the Silver nozzle being a 100 shot? but years later as I talked to guys w/more experience they started too tell me different? My stock Silver nozzles measure .055=80HP custom Silver nozzle .060=100HP and my .065=125HP

Ill post later all the different colors and there measurements.

Thanks for the response...

I did call down there 2 days ago and talk to Jose...about some issues i was having with my system after having the car dyno tuned. Dyno results post

I informed him that the fuel enrichment did not seem to be working, and that the dyno saw 15:1 A/F while doing the initial tune. He said he would look into my module to inspect everything was working correctly, and to customize for me to provide more fuel enrichment (and subsequently more nitrous.) Jose also informed me they do custom nozzles all the time...and that the .060" was the 100 shot, and the .065" was the 125 shot. This is exciting...as I've run out of injector already (24lbers come stock in Cobras) with the .055" 80 shot, that means she'll really be cooking when I get new injectors and this module upgraded.

Even running out of injector, and the module not injecting the .055" shot...I still made over 110 ft. lbs of tq versus my stock baseline run. Which is impressive. With new injectors and the 125 jet I should be able to near the 500 ft lb. mark....which is right where a bolt on Cobra with nitrous should be.

Have you had your car on the dyno? If so what were the results, or what are your results at the track. You're combo looks good in the sig.

Thanx! I just replied to your other post great write up :icon_thum I think I was a little long winded also Lol. Believe me I was a little upset at first with my #s but when it was made clear to me that the shot was a little smaller then what was advertised it made my day cause i knew there was room for improvement with the .060 or 100shot This Kit is a little Tricky but VERY VERY safe,, what I dont like is that it wont always shut down if it senses a lean condition but you wont get the full shot either? Which is probably why I havent blown my stock plastic intake in the 5yrs Ive had the kit? I posted my #s in the other post but here they are again:

Dyno #s A/F 14:1 :toothy3: Silver .055 80shot:
323.? rwhp and 416.? rwtq.
Best ET @ altitude of 5000ft w/80 shot:
13.3 @ 106mph w/2.0 60ft
