its funny look at the mongoose 2.6l supercharger and in the specs and stuff it reads "Whisper quiet. No embarrassing and annoying gear noise."

now who here thinks that supercharger wine is embarrassing? I know i dont!

 

You'd be suprised at how many people want the power and not the whistle. Some want it for "sleeper" status, others really don't like the whistle.

I sure as hell wouldn't mind the whistle!!!

 

im pretty sure its only quiet at idle. but i havent heard a 2.6 or 2.8 yet. i heard a 1.7 on a GT and its quiet at WOT, i heard a 2.1 on a GT the other day online and it screams like a 4 valve KB.

like i said i could be wrong. that would be sweet if that thing didnt make noise at WOT.

 

you kidding? That 1.7l screams louder than the eaton cobra blower. lol

 

I know my procharger is loud as hell at idle, but is quiet when accelerating.
