Nitrous problems, HELP!
ok i just installed the NX wet plate kit, real awesome kit, looks really clean under the hood and it's really easy to install. Now the problem is, i tested out the kit the solenoids are clicking and such so i know the kit is active. I filled up my bottle and decided to go out for a test run, only 50 shot so i wouldnt be able to really hurt anything. At first i gunned it and it was breaking up bad, so i changed out my plugs. Next time i went out it didnt break up as bad but it feels like it's getting too much fuel and not enough nitrous. My fuel is being supplied directly from my fuel line. I have an 04 so my car does not have the schrader valve like 03's and earlier models. I have a fuel T there. I used to have the car supercharged so i do have an SVT Focus fuel pump. The question is, since NX uses it's jet ratings for a stock Gt with stock fuel pump and also getting it's fuel from the schrader valve (it says in the instruction to use this valve), is my shot unequal and getting too much fuel? it breaks up near 5k. And the car actually feels a little slower when i hit the nitrous. Please help!

no you don't need to change the pills that would change how much fuel goes in. It sound slike your nitrous noid isnt opening up or you have something in the nitrous line and is blocking it. Go unhook the nitrous nozzel from the intake and arm the system and spray it and see if it sprays fuel and nitrous out together.

ok the noid is indeed spraying nitrous, i did a test before hand, it is spraying. Everything is hooked up correctly, the noid engage, they click when itest them and they spray when activated. It just feels like it's too much fuel maybe i put the jets in the wrong holes? nitro jet in the fuel and fuel jet in the nitrous? i gotta check tomorrow..

Ok so:
1. You have good fuel pressure and good nitrous pressure
2. You know that both of the solenoids are opening when you hit the button
3. You have the correct size jets in.
That covers the nitrous system. If all of those check out then maybe your car isnt running its best. Either that or the little 50 shot pills arent satisfying your needs....
Clean out you MAF sensor and your IAT sensor (if you have one). Make sure you dont have one of those Fenderwell style CAIs. .... You DO have copper plugs in it dont you?

i have been to plenty of dyno sessions, all motor the car makes 258rwhp and 285lb/ft,12.5 across the board, i also used to have this car supercharged but the supercharger just didnt do it for me, specially when i got beat by a guy with exhaust gears and a 125shot. But i didnt take off the blower for nitrous,i took it off for my turbo

Well thats good that you're planning on getting a dyno tune with the 125 shot. However, even with the 50 shot Id put it on the dyno to check the a/f. The plate kit is known to have a bad lean spike. You can never be too safe.

Sounds like your on a quick route to a new motor soon....Man your moving way too fast with the pill! Dont go from a 50 shot to a 125! FYI: The NX Plate is only designed to operate in 50hp increments! I called NX about it. You must go with a 100 shot. Trust me you would think it was a 125! Do you even have a bigger fuel pump? if not then youd better have that A/F ratio checked while on spray. Either that or buy a NX Fuel Safety Switch ($50). Just take your time and make sure you PERFECT everything about the way you set this up. The results will be safer and worth it.....
