Default Nitrous on a 98 gt

I was just wondering if it would be safe to install the vcn-1000 nitrous kit on a 98 gt with about 84,XXX miles on it and the engine is in good condition. And if it would be safe what nozzle should I use? I'm thinking about getting this b/c I need to quench my hp thrust for a little while before I actually buy a new forged gt motor.

Yes it will be safe venom is the SAFEST kit out there, You can use any nozzle you feel comfortable with, right now i use the 75, get colder plugs ngk tr6 or autolite 103s and learn how to check the plugs, as long as your engine is in good condition its never too many miles to put a power adder

if they are colder plugs then they are ok, i am running a 75 shot with stock plugs but that will change later when i change them sometime, but you should be fine, but colder plugs is always a good thing

forgot to ask, but when you say colder you mean a plug with a less powerful spark?

You do not i repeat do nto run platnium plugs with nitrous ever. They will not melt in case of a lean conndition whihc could save your motor. The the whole point of going a set colder plug and using a copper setup or iradium is ok too. The plug will save your motor. I have burnt mine once before when was on the bottle my stock pump couldnt handle the 90hp shot at 5,500 and it ran out of fuel and thanks to my NKG TR6's they melted the electroid off which stopeed the motor from killing itself and made me shut down the car.

I cant stress this enough replace your plugs with other non platnium plugs. i personaly like NGK TR6's part number 4177 at any parts store.

Cold pug take smore heat out of the combustion chamber and move it into the spark plug itself, which goes into the motor. It just heats keep temps down. As the nitrous willl raise temps when being used. it doesnt not change how much power goes to the plug.
