Default Obama: GM bail-out

Well? Did anyone watch the live national address on this June 1st? (I only saw it cuz it cut into the episode of Jeopardy I was recording)

His speech sounded very similar to the one GWBush gave when we invaded Iraq. "a short an precise strike, reconstruct and then we pull out"

I wonder if they will liquidate their stock after GM gets back on their feet and/or how many things they will take control of before that happens

I didn't see it, nor do I care to see it. Before this year, I had a strong love for politics and was very interested in everything about it. But after all of the "Obama this and Obama that" and the "what do Sarah Palin and John McCain think of this and that" crap I'm so tired of it all that the thought of shoving a 12 gauge into my mouth comes up every time I turn on CNN or any of it's sister networks.

Politics can go suck one.

GM did this to themselves, they deserve to crash.

This is why I stick to my normal shows. haha. CNN has never seen the light of day on my tv. Half the time it's like a senate meeting or something and all you see is people walking around for a few hours and ****. It doesn't matter who's in office at whatever level, we get screwed at something. Nothing will ever be perfect.

While GM did do it to themselves, the government helped ensure bankruptcy. First by gaining a controlling interest via the bail-out, and then by cutting GM's 3rd best selling division, and instead, forcing them to take orders from DC.

Just wait for the government incentives to buy from GM and Chrysler. That will be the end of Ford and then the government will either let it die or own all three

I will personally never buy a car from a government owned company I believe in small government and I don't need or want them building my cars
