Saw this bumper sticker on the way home lastnight. So good, they put it on their back window instead of the bumper

McCain would have had a better chance last election if didn't have a retarded vice presidential candidate on his ticket.

Nah, he had no chance.. The public opinion had been heavily swayed by the media, especially about the age & war factor. Sarah Palin didn't have much affect on the outcome of the election.

and lol @ the sticker. My dad has one that says NO B.O.

I still stand by my vote. I regret some of the things he's already done, sure, but as long as he bares the title President I'll stand by him and have faith that things will get better.

Well, I'm not like Streisand, springsteen, etc., saying I am gonna move out of the country. He was somehow elected President, so I will at least give him a chance...but NO more earmarks (after 9000 in the past few weeks!!!), especially since he campaigned so heavily against earmarks. Who's paying for it? Yea, we are.

That's not gonna stop anytime soon.. He was one of the largest violators of that particular items of any one person in the senate.....

Nick, I understand where you're coming from, but I differ in the fact that I'll respect the position, not necessarily the person in it.

I hear ya, Evan. And he definitely hasn't given anyone a lot of reasons to continue to support him so far, but I'll give him until Fall before I'll decide. I think everyone still wants that "hope" and "change", I being one of them...we just try to ignore what's been happening (which is another reason why it's best that I not be President...EVER).

Even though my ideology is pretty much on the opposite side of the political spectrum as Obama, and I currently don't agree with his policies I still am not going to judge his action so far.

Except I think I will be judging pretty hard if we are working our way out of this recession by the end of the year.

McClain had no chance. This was not the time for guy who changes his stance every three weeks. It's amazing how he went from Mr. Moderate to giving the finger to the dems now.

If the GOP wanted to win, Romney and Paul would have been their best chance. However, both lost because Paul was always screwed by the media (he answered what, 3 questions total in all the debates in which they were all retarded questions) and Romney was always unfairly picked on by his insurance plan, which he unfortunately never was able to shut people up on it (especially the media who kept on twisting his words). Really, this election was rigged for the dems, since no true and strong Conservative ran for the GOP and the media let Obama slide on many of the hard issues.

Hard to fix things when you made it much worse, in two months.

imo u guys just talked and didnt make any POLITICAL sense
obama told u this was gon happen
stimulus package (in economics this is NEVER positive in the LONG run0
an economy is not just gon change in a few months
it takes indefinite time
he received the economy on the downturn and just didnt turn it
economists knew he was not gon to change things this quick
the economy is going to stabalize(goal of economics) on it own
the stimulus package obama and bush put out was just to help in d short run which really hurt us in d long run

Rewrite this with correction grammar and punctuation

And he is doing more than trying to "fix" the economy. We are shifting to a European Socialist government with his policies.

Capitalism FTW!

If you have people from the old Soviet Union in this country saying they are going back home, your country just might be turning socialist.

I specifically remember Obama saying things would get worse before they got better so no one should be surprised by the economy... I think he's done ok given he took over a position that was made extremely shitty by the last person that had it...

He only said that to lower the American public's expectations for him.

And don't complain about the so called Bushing spending era. Obama is 4x worse.

He is the reason to complain.... Things didn't get shitty until he started trying to police the GLOBE... Everything that Obama has been spending money on is to help the economy unlike Bush.... Everybody that I know was aware that things wouldn't change over night... The was the economy is anyone with common sense would know its not going to change over night. If it changes at all I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't until the middle or end of his term that things got noticeably better..

First, Bush didn't police, he invaded. Clinton was the man who turned us into the world police. Secondly, how was Obama's economic plan different from Bush's? What, toss in trillions of dollars that we don't have and hope for the best? What Obama is doing is not helping the economy, it's strangling it. Just wait until the amount of debt that's been racked up needs to be payed, plus the interest. Things are getting so bad that out debt is getting close to being equal to our GDP. NO COUNTRY can survive at that kind of debt level. Never mind one that tries to pay it off by printing more bills and devaluating the currency. There's a reason why the Chinese out right laughed at Geithner when he visited China to assure them that it is safe to give us loans. Add to it now that the basic rule of capitalism, risk taking, is now an illegal practice, how are we to know make any kind of profits? Obama has done more to cripple this nation than even Carter. It says a lot when the last president was criticized for running up the debt when Obama has already matched that increase in only months, and not 8 years.
