bill ford jr stepping down would be the best thing that could happen to ford! bring in some people from other sucessful automakers that actually know how to run a company and bring a quality image back to ford.. right now fords image is " yeah we build crap, but we have a good warranty and will give cars away near cost!" lol

It shows that Ford is dedicated to rebuilding the brand. Its a smart move by Bill Ford in my opinion.

Ford is still staying on as chairman...and the Ford's still own 40% of the business.

They need someone new in there. I'm glad they started selling off some of the other car companies they owned cause it wasn't helping. Not sure why they bought Aston Martin in the first place. They need to get rid of Jaguar as well sicne it's a proven loss for Ford, but they won't sell it.
