I think he was a prime pick for that situation. Ford should see some positive results from this.

its takes a big man with a boat load of ***** to say you're not the guy the fix your own company. I give props to bill ford for realizing this before the company got into a situation that it could never recover from. the only bad thing is if you thought the axe swung before I bet you dollars to doughnuts its gonna be a 6 foot chain saw this time. I gar-un-tee the new guy is gonna shake stuff up like it has never been done before. My idea on what ford should do, dump jag, volvo, austin martin and land rover...and go buy honda out right. dont mess with anything at honda, no sharing anything they have a good business model. just buy them out right and sell their cars at ford dealerships. then ford will have more car options to buyers than fusion and the 500. trucks and suv's are on the way out but ford relies to much on them and the mustang is too much of a niche vehicle to sustain a company...just my $.02
