DAMN right...It worked with Japan. I don't recall anymore attacks from Japan since Pearl Harbor.

We were attacked first, and yet people think that we shouldn't retaliate. Why don't we just bend over and take it in the *** again. With no retaliation, the attacks would continue until we were taken over. As far as killing their innocent people, they killed our innocent people so what is good is for the goose is good for the gander. Let's nuke em and speed this process along.

So, that has nothing to do with the troops in Iraq. The war in Afghanistan was for when we got ****ed during 9/11. That war was abandoned a few years ago so that we could lead on to a better, more profitable one in Iraq. BTW, by profitable I mean oil for Bush's buddies. I know you guys are sick of hearing everyone say that and that's all the war leads to, but it's true and it's not a reason to go to war with a country.

HAHAHAHHAAH!!!!! I'm sorry but that was the dumbest ****ing statement I've heard in a few years. CHEAPER GAS PRICES?!?!?! You haven't noticed that since the war in Iraq has been going on that gas prices have more than doubled? The reason is because now we are paying for the protection that the gas companies are using on their oil rigs.

Actually i believe the gas prices are higher do to the fact that Hurricane Katrina F'd up are oil rigs in the gulf. We actually do supply some of our own oil that was one of the major reasons why it sky rocketed last year.

Think of it this way if Bush would have done nothing about 9/11 he would be wrong but he didn't he retaliated back and he was wrong no matter what he does he is wrong. It's a lot easier to sit back as a civilian and not know the whole story and say man that president's an idiot. If you are getting your info from the news you are seeing what they want you to see. when do they ever report something good. NEVER!!!!! There are alot of Iraqis who are happy we are there. I hope we take over the middle east and make it a better place so they stop coming here. If america is so horrible for attacking these countries then why do they come here to live and raise their families. TO GET AWAY FROM THOSE HELL HOLES. One day it will be the UNITED COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD. THere is nothing wrong with that because we offer opportunities for everyone.

Even after the troops leave there will be a perminent base setup just like everywhere else. We also have embassies all over the world why do you think they are there to make sure we know what that country is up to. Everyone has always been jealous of america that's were the hate comes from.

I think that's enough said.

Actually only about 20% of oil we import is refined in the Gulf area and about 75% of them are already up and running because they put that before the cities.

As far as us producing our own oil, you're right, the only thing is... WE DON'T GET ANY OIL FROM THE GULF! The only substantial amount of oil we get from domestic locations is in Alaska, all away across the country. 75% of what we get comes from the Persian Gulf area, about 20% is from Alaska, and then the remaining 5% comes from various areas aroung the world such as Venezuala and Nigeria.

Bush did retaliate, and I was with him on that one. You keep coming back to this, but infact the retaliation was against Afghanistan because Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. This war has nothing to do with 9/11 but some of you guys keep going back to what Bush's decision was to retaliate. I agreed with him that we should have went to war with Afghanistan, but I don't think we should have called it Mission Accomplished in '03 then went to war with Iraq. We never found Osama and we didn't accomplish anything. So I suggest you get off the whole 9/11 thing because it has nothing, ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with the war in Iraq.

You're exactly right Slick. It has nothing to do with 9/11. What you say may not be popular but it's so true. What I'm gonna say probably won't get many cheers either but I'll say this war is all about corporate greed and getting richer off the blood of US Soldiers. I don't claim to be any "expert" by any means but I will ask you all to look at how much richer Vice President Cheney's former company Haliburton has got from this war. The republicans are getting MAJOR money from this rebuilding process. That's why we're in Iraq.

Here's some interesting information for anyone who's interested...
