My friend had remote start on a suzuki side kick and pressed the button as we were walking up to it and it took off and jumped a railroad tie that was dividing the parking lot up and landed on the hood of the car across from it.

eh, i had remote start on my old car for about 2 years and it was manual. never had a problem because i've never been in the habbit of leaving my car in gear when i park it. emergency break is good enough.
