ok...so i drove my g/f home....i did a 3-point turn in her driveway and hit a pile of snow/ice....i got out to inspect the damage and i managed to break 7 or 8 of them lil plastic pins...so i took my car home....got on to the floor and took it off all together cause i have hit quite of few things of random ice ***** in the middle of the road (this is just for the winter)....so i back my car out and clean the area i was working in (in my garage)......i pull my car back into my garage and feel my car shimmy when i was stopped..i turn the car off.....and go and inspect....i make my way around the car and noticed my passenger side tail pipe had fell off of the tubing where it goes over the axel.....im like faaawwwwk!....now i got to fix that tommorow...to cold out and im too cranky right now...thought i would share that w/ ya....here is a pic of my tail pipe and my very very very dirty car w/ out my spoiler

I had that same tailpipe problem with my exhaust this summer....Lucky I was on my way to the track and had my tool box in the back. Crawled under the thing in a gas station parkin lot, and cranked the bad boy back down.... Then I retightened everything else... Duno if I didnt get it tight when I installed it or what, but it pissed me off. Good thing I didnt scratch the tip!

 

it lasted a week....and then it came off....o well

Ive had problems with SLP's bolt on parts also, actually exact same piece. i was driving and damn thing fell off!! But havent had problmes since, after I got it put back on of course.

Oh aight, I'm tryin ta get an 03 Cobra spoiler on there eventually. Idk I just can't imagin the car without a spoiler, Even the old ones had a tail on there, Something. It looks Neked round back w/out it.

Yeah my H&R's should be arriving at home today! Can't wait to get the off road look off and get the car centered more.

 

You should get another one. Too much water can get into your engine bay and wiring with that thing off.

50resto has them. My cobra was missing one and I got one from them. Its a big piece of plastic. Cost is usually around $60 or so plus a little extra for hardware.
